Meridian Energy Retail Sales Volumes Fall 3.2% in August Meridian Energy's (NZE:MEL, ASX:MEZ) retail sales volumes fell 3.2% year-on-year in August, according to a Friday filing with the Australia and New Zealand bourses.Compared with the year prior, segment sales rose in agriculture by 4.4% and large businesses rose 7.1%, the filing stated. Residential fell 4.6%, small-medium businesses slipped 1.2%, and corporate dropped 6.9%.National hydro storage increased to 99% from 45% of the historical average in the month to Sept. 9, according to the filing.
